Replica of the 1878 canteen cover with thin serif ink USMC marking used beginning in 1898. This cover is appropriate for canteens issued for the Spanish American War, Filipino Insurrection and even into early World War I.
Cover set comes with one complete 100% 8 oz. khaki cotton duck cover with indelible ink marking and one complete wool lining.
