Held in curio cabinet out of sun for many decades by a serious former collector of antique/vintage Navajo American Indian items. Liquidating the estate.

    Description

    Fine, old antique Ojibwa circa 1930s spectacular iconic moccasins approximately size 10 1/2. Thick leather (not sure if moose or elk) which was smoked and brain tanned. Leather is soft and supple. From Turtle Family. Beautifully beaded in iconic design with old cut, seed and other fine beads - beautifully done. Barely worn. No fading - original leather coloration as displayed this way in curio cabinet for many years. Very good condition - gently worn years ago. Rare and hard to find early items such as this one in very good condition.  Liquidating a three generation estate of fine collectibles. This former family member collected only the finest antique beadwork and basketry made by Native American Indians. They would look fantastic in just about any home Ojibwa collection. Or, wear as an authentic, one of a kind wearble art in your accessory collection! It would make a fine addition to your already amazing American Indian fine handmade items from long ago.  Use, put in your collection or to give as a gift! No smoke/or pet home.
