This classic Two Grey Hills Navajo rug has all the elements that makes these weavings justifiably famous.  Employing all native
handspun yarns, t
his piece is very finely and tightly woven and very smooth to the touch.
There are several almost invisible lazy lines.
The weaving probably dates from the 1940's-1960's.
Dimensions:  58" tall x 44-1/2" wide
Condition: Very good with several very minor issues including small minor stains (upper central medallion-right side), one spot with a couple of broken threads exposing warp thread, and two very small areas in left border where yarns are thin but unbroken. Overall visual impact is weaving is
intact,
clean, unfaded (see photos).
