This chime is tuned to the last chord of the intensely beautiful song Hymn A L'Amour (Hymn to Love).
The French lyrics are by Edith Piaf, who first sang it in Paris in 1949 as a tribute to her lover who tragically died in a plane crash on his way to see her.
Many diverse singers, including Edith Piaf, Fubuki Koshiji and Cyndi Lauper, have recorded Hymn to Love.
